Parco Hong Lim
- Hong Lim Park is located in the heart of Singapore’s bustling Central Business District.
- This small but historically significant park is easily accessible due to its central location, at the junction of North Canal Road and South Bridge Road.
- Hong Lim Park, established in 1885, is not only one of the oldest public gardens in Singapore but also holds the unique title as the location of Speakers’ Corner, the only venue in the city-state where public protests are allowed without a police permit.
- This makes it a vibrant hub for free speech and civil demonstrations.
Diritti dei gay a Singapore
- Same-sex sexual activity is legal for both males and females; for men it was officially legalised in 2022 after being de facto decriminalised since 2007, and for women it was always legal.
